No one would listen
No one but her
Heard as the outcast hears.

Shamed into solitude
Shunned by the multitude
I learned to listen
In my dark, my heart heard music

I long to teach the world
Rise up and reach the world
No one would listen
I alone could hear the music

Then, at last, a voice in the gloom
Seemed to cry "I hear you"
I hear your fears
Your torment and your tears

She saw my lonliness
Shared in my emptiness
No one would listen
No one but her
Heard as the outcast hears

No one would listen
No one but her
Heard as the outcast hears...

Sorta/ really simple if you have seen the movie. No one would listen but christine no one cared about but who christine. Who by the way abandoned him for evil canivel Raoul! Ok this has nothing to do about the song but he watched her all his life! Or at least since he was like. 10!

I love the song, wish they had included it in the movie but I don't see why he thinks Christine "heard his fears, his torment and his tears" because she unmasked him twice and chose wimpy Raoul over him. I don't think she listened to him at all. She was a fool.
