My heart beats, standing on the edge
But my feet have finally left the ledge
Like an acrobat
There's no turning back

I'm letting go
Of the life I planned for me
And my dreams
I'm losing control
Of my destiny
It feels like I'm falling and that's what it's like to believe
So I'm letting go

This is a giant leap of faith
Trusting and trying to embrace
The fear of the unknown
Beyond my comfort zone

I'm letting go
Of the life I planned for me
And my dreams
I'm losing control
Of my destiny
It feels like I'm falling and that's what it's like to believe
So I'm letting go

Giving in to your gravity
Knowing You are holding me
I'm not afraid

I'm letting go
Of the life I planned for me
And my dreams
I'm losing control
Of my destiny

It feels like I'm falling and that's what it's like to believe
It feels like I'm falling and this is the life for me
And I'm letting go
Feels like I'm falling and that's what it's like to believe
Feels like I'm falling and this is the life for me

I'm willing to let go of the expectations and the way I thought my life was going to go in order to trust that god has a better plan for me. As uncomfortable as it is and as much as I want to be able to control my life - I have to trust that god has his arms wrapped tightly around me and is taking me where he wants me to be.

To me, it means that I'm going to let go of everything that I want to do and just go with what comes even if it is something I wouldn't usually do. Just give in and trust that god isn't going to let anything happen that wouldn't be anything that you would want, even if it is something you wouldn't expect to do.

I can't believe I just found out about this song today. "Let go and Let God." He already planned our life even before coming to this world. He's not gonna let you down. Just wait. Hang in there if ever you're having a tough time! Things happen, because God is simply implying that it's not for us. What we want may not be good for us. It's not what he planned for us. He planned something better. When one door closes, another one opens. It will lead you to the right path. You just have to believe. It will all be worth it in the end. Just trust Him! You are never alone. Heads up!

I woke up the other night with this song's lyrics playing repeatedly in my head. I have ms and after 20 years, it is really starting to go downhill. The words to this song hit me: I need to let go of the life I planned for me and accept the life god has planned for me - which is not an easy thing to do, but I know his plans are so much better than mine.

The lord works in mysterious ways and so this song fits him well. I love this song because it is so true. God is love and love is good. This song is so much more popular than the "one voice in a sea of pain" but it is sort of good.
