This indecision got me climbing up the wall...
Been cheating gravity, and waiting on the fall...
How did this come over me, thought I was above it all...
Our hopes gone up in smoke, swallow your crown

Choke! On a kiss, thought I'd save my breath for you
Choke! On a kiss, thought I'd save my breath for you
Give me some rope I'm coming loose, I'm hanging on you
Give me some rope I'm coming loose, I'm pulling for you now
Give me some rope I'm coming, out of my head, into the clear when you... go...
I... come... Loose!

These premonitions got me crying up a storm
Leave your condition, this position does no harm

Choke! On a kiss, thought I'd save my breath for you
Choke! On a kiss, thought I'd save my breath for you
Give me some rope I'm coming loose, I'm hanging on you
Give me some rope I'm coming loose, I'm pulling for you now
Give me some rope I'm coming, out of my head, into the clear when you... go...
I... come... Loose!

(Drum & guitar solos)

Give me some rope I'm coming loose, I'm hanging on you
Give me some rope I'm coming loose, I'm pulling for you now
Give me some hope I'm coming through, I'm counting on you
Give me some rope I'm coming, out of my head, into the clear when you... go...
I... come... Loose!

I think he's was in a relationship and thought that he could do whatever he wanted to and still keep his relationship, but when his other half began to leave he began to fall apart, and he realized he only had it together because his other half was the one holding him together in the first place

He wants to be thrown some rope to continue on cause he's about to lose it or leave someone which he is hanging onto and is looking for a sign to stay or a life line aka "rope"

I need you so much you need to help me... But i need you so much you need to give me some rope so i can hang myself. I need you so much i need you in order to continue on... But i need you so much i can't continue. Kind of a suicide song.. Not my favorite theme... But i love this song because it depicts what most people go through at one time or another

This song is about a relationship where both of people know it's going to end- they both want it to end, but they can't make the break. It's not good but they can't stand to be apart- they push each other away, and they pull each other apart- but then they also pull each other up when the other one needs the other. One thing is true about this song is this: the drums are awesome!!!
