If Jesus Christ had more than one bride..what would that make him? Jesus Christ has one birde...one church. Jesus talks about the church being united like the father and the son are one. The church has been broken for half a century..i.e. Martin Luther. We all believe different things.
it means the people, the members of the church! all the "parts" or peope encourgae eachother, to live for Christ...like the proverb "as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenence of his friend" your brothers and sisters in Christ are there for you. THe "birde" is the church, and the people in church are supposed to be united, "one flesh"
The "beautiful bride" is the Christian Church Body which is called the Bride of Christ many times in the New Testament of the Bible. It's about how all the churches are connected as one through Christ.
I think this song is about unity. Unity brings more power? Something like that... For some reason I always picture soldiers when i'm listening to this song probably has to do with the cover of the album.
