It's about tapping in to the super-conscious mind = g o d. 'when food is gone you are my daily need' sounds completely biblical and beautiful. When it looks about as bad as it can possibly get - well, throw your hands up in the air and just give it up! Let go! You aren't in control of everything, you give, you receive so be a part of the flow. You're not on your own, even if all your friends are gone. It's just time to tap into the source and meet the true friends. Yep. Powerful meaning in this song. Absolutely uplifting. Love it!

I think this song is about love for something grater than you. When you feel you cant keep going or like you are wasting your time. There is something greater than you that believes and still loves when you don't feel you can.
