    The song to me is about surrendering to god by laying you soull down to him. Asking the lord to come into your life. Not allowing the worldly influences but instead letting god and letting go!
    Lay me down - surrendering to god
    come to me- letting god in. Don't give in - don't let the satanical worldly influences in.
    That's what I think this song means; it's like a prayer asking god for these things.
