To me, this song sounds like it's about a past relationship she had with a guy who wanted to play the victim. The line " you poor sweet innocent thing you dry your eyes" sounds sarcastic, like oh, poor you, never mind me and my feelings. The song is good to sing and to vent to. Amy Lee is pretty good at writing songs to vent frustrations she has in relationships.
