At last
My love has come along
My lonely days over
And life is like a song

Ooh Yeah, Yeah, At last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clover
The night I looked at you

I found a dream
That I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill
To press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known

You smile
You smile
Oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine at last

The meaning of "at last" is that etta james is saying that she was finding love, and now a guy that likes her and she likes back. She says how she first met him when she first saw him she just, "melted". Now they're dead and they still love each other.
