I got up this morning and fell out of bed
Trying to make it to the door.
The wind was high, I didn't have much time,
Trying to find a man to score.

And then you came up on the other side
To brighten up my day.
I knew right away
That this could be my day.

Someone like you
Could make me change my ways.
Someone like you
Could turn the nights into days.

There you were, standing
On a crowded street.
You looked so good, though the air was bad,
Walking through the fog.

Chorus

I want to thank you, thank you now
For getting me back on my feet again.
I want to thank you, thank you now
For getting me back on my feet again.

Chorus

Someone says how much he cares and miss the woman he loves; perhaps his dear wife away from him.. That his wife has got big influence in his life and a great inspiration for him to keep going and change his old ways... Hope that the lady wife will keep inspiring him ... And do not get tired of doing that as he does in the beginning... Hope that he will not forget that at one point... He needed his wife for inspiration and lead him to a better path of success... Some men do forget eventually that at one point his wife inspired him to go further to reach the success of his career... Just sad!!
