Eurus...Afer...
...Ventus so...
...the world goes round and round With
all you ever knew -- They
say the sky high above Is
Caribbean blue if...

every man is true Do,
I believe the sky above Is
Caribbean blue Boreas...

all you dreamed was new Imagine,
sky high above In
Caribbean blue Eurus...

Oh sorry, was too busy laughing at that moron to actually post the real meaning.

"It is much easier to imagine a beautiful place on a rainy day than to imagine a dreary one. It is a simple fact, often forgotten, that people may create something good merely by thinking it so. A day-dream is as rich a gift as any. Like Afer Ventus, the wind from Africa, or Eurus, the East wind, Boreas from the North or the gentle Zephyrus, the imagination is free and can choose and create its own journey. As with all dreams we reach for the ideal, and Caribbean Blue represents such a dream."

In short, it's all about imagination.

This is coming from the songwriter himself.

Yeah, you were way off whispering. Just like with every other idea your little brain sprouts.

In Greek mythology, Euros, Boreas, Africus and Notos are the four winds.(Ventus: wind)
These winds do battle, cause conflict and damage as men do.
Enya is cynical and is having a hard time believing the sky is "Caribbean Blue" because men are not true or honest. I guess she is comparing
battle of the winds to conflicts among men...or wanting answers from the winds.
Song could be the theme song to our current times with no truth
or honesty from politicians or Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly media whores.
