[sample: "When you get into one of these groups, there's only a couple of]
[ways you can get out. One, is death; the other, is mental institutions."]

Extracted essence of the stone
Narcotic of the faceless ones
I awake on planet black
Freezing moon, no turning back

Forbidden sorcery
Vinum Sabbathi

Now I'm a slave to the black drug
Forced to serve this black god
I thought myself a master of the arts
This dimension of misery is my penance

Forbidden sorcery
Vinum Sabbathi
Forbidden sorcery
Vinum Sabbathi
Forbidden sorcery
Vinum Sabbathi
Forbidden sorcery
Vinum Sabbathi
Forbidden sorcery
Vinum Sabbathi
Forbidden sorcery
Vinum Sabbathi
Forbidden sorcery
Vinum Sabbathi

Completely disagree that this song is about heroin or any kind of drug addiction. It's more literal than that. Wizard frequently focus on the occult and this song is in keeping with the Crowleyan/Lovecraftian themes of much of their work. It's about a sorcerer who dabbled in the black arts and ended up losing control.

This song isn't necessarily about heroin specifically, "now i'm a slave to the black drug" does lend itself to that i suppose-- but nevertheless i think they mean downers in general whether it be opiates, weed, or alcohol. Ultimately it's definitely drug related... Everyone's got their own demon.

Pretty straight forward meaning. This song is about heroin/opiates, specifically withdrawl. "i thought myself a master of the arts. This dimension of misery is my penance". Seems pretty clear to me.
