Verse 1:
At the foot of the cross
Where grace and suffering meet
You have shown me Your love
Through the judgment You received
And You've won my heart
And You've won my heart
Now I can
Chorus:
Trade these ashes in for beauty
And wear forgiveness like a crown
Coming to kiss the feet of mercy
I lay every burden down
At the foot of the cross [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/d/don_moen/at_the_foot_of_the_cross.html ]
Verse 2:
At the foot of the cross
Where I am made complete
You have given me life
Through the death you bore for me
And You've won my heart
And You've won my heart
Now I can
(Repeat Chorus twice, then instrumental)
Bridge:
And You've won my heart
And You've won my heart
Now I can
(Repeat twice Chorus)
I lay every burden down
I lay every burden down
At the foot of the cross
At the foot of the cross
At the foot of the cross
We should lay all our burden at the foot of the cross, because he shed his blood on the cross of calvary for our redemption. Therefor we should lay all our burden on him because he is there to take it away from us.

The lord's arms are ever opened to us if we will come to him. He is faithfull and just to forgive us when we confers our sins to him alone. In him we will be made complete.

Means you submit you wholly self to jesus, he who knows your transgressions,he who bore the sins of the whole world. Yeap!
