I think this song is from him to him. About getting to know yourself, being okay with yourself and finally loving yourself so that in the long run you are okay being with just you. Noone's gonna love you the way you love yourself. Maybe "You gotta love yourself first before anyone else can."

I dont get it. I gave up on him because Im sorry but I dont think its the girls job to start the relationship. If a guy wants to be with a girl they have to make the effort to get the girl and not expect the girl to go to them?!
