i think this song is about a boy who knows that the one girl that meant more to him then any other girl, he knows now that he should have never let her go. he knows that it was his one fatal mistake so he tries to go back, go back to that time of when he was lost in her green eyes and her honeysuckle deep hair, he goes back to the time of when life felt so right. but he finally woke up from his dream of her and now he has to pick up the pieces of where he left off. he has to go back to his burning city of where it all began, he has to find her, he has to find her heart, and this time he can't lose her in the lust of people.
