Well I was moving at the speed of sound,
Head was spinning, couldn't find my way around, and
Didn't know that I was going down.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Where I've been, well, it's all a blur.
What I was looking for, I'm not sure.
Too late, I didn't see it coming.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.

Well, I crashed into you,
And I went up in flames.
Could've been the death of me,
But then you breathed your breath in me.
And I crashed into you,
Like a runaway train.
Your will consumed me,
And I can't walk away.

Somehow, I couldn't stop myself.
I just wanted to know how it felt.
Too strong, I couldn't hold on.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Now I'm just tryin' to make some sense
Don't know how or why this happened.
Where we're heading, there's just no knowing.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.

Well, I crashed into you,
And I went up in flames.
Could've been the death of me,
But then you breathed your breath in me.
And I crashed into you,
Like a runaway train.
Your will consumed me,
And I can't walk away.

Your face, your eyes
Are burning to me.
You saved me, you gave me
Just what I need.
Oh, just what I need.

Well, I crashed into you,
And I went up in flames.
Could've been the death of me,
But then you breathed your breath in me.
And I crashed into you,
Like a runaway train.
Your will consumed me,
And I can't walk away.

Well, I crashed into you,
And I crashed into you,
And I crashed into you,
And I crashed into you,

And I crashed into you,
Like a runaway train.
Your will consumed me,
And I can't walk away.

I agree with dman, this song is about direction.

I think that Chris is reffering to a point in his life when he found direction. He was going about his life with no care in the world. Then, he crashed and broke down. He didn't know what to do. However, this person was there to save him and gave him direction. Now, he is in forever in debt to this person and will never leave him/her.

without a direction in life we tend to go to the wrong places but every once in awhile something stops us and shows us the righ way.

He loves his girl, the minute they met he fell in love with her, another love story, Chris Daughtry rocks. I love him as a singer, he's a great role model, this song is amazing, just like What About Now.
