Make no mistake I don't do anything for free and
I keep my enemies closer than my mirror ever gets to me
And if you think that there is shelter in this attitude
Where do you feel the warmth of my gratitude

Ah I get the feeling that it's two against one
Ah I'm already fighting me so what's another one?
The mirror is a trigger and your mouths a gun
Ah Lucky for me I'm not the only one

And if it looks to me like you and your reflection
For them to add your own fight to this dimension
Then tell it that this ain't no free for all to see
There's only three
It's just you and me against me

Ah I get the feeling that it's two against one
Ah I'm already fighting me so what's another one?
The mirror is a trigger and your mouths a gun
Ah Lucky for me I'm not the only one
Lucky for me I'm not the only one

And if your foot soldiers, syncophants and yes man
For them to break into the middle of this little plan
Then they should plan to hear me say that I wont play around
But wait anyway I planned a plan to drown them

Ah I get the feeling that it's two against one
Ah I'm already fighting me so what's another one?
The mirror is a trigger and your mouths a gun
Ah Lucky for me I'm not the only one
Lucky for me I'm not the only one

The way I see it, it's a the story of a man fighting his guilt before ultimately killing himself. The deer is used to represent his conscience which takes through his past. The first scene is of his son dying via a train accident. He blames himself for not having jumped out in time to save the child. Next he is reminded of when their home caught on fire. He blames himself for his wives death, because he couldn't get to the outside and use the water tower to put out the fire. In the third scene he is reminded of his eldest son death after assumable driving into a large body of water. He is unable to save his son due to being uncontrollably saved first. Finally, the man becomes angry with himself, and faces all his fear and guilt before finally killing himself.

It's about a relationship. He knows the girl is right but he won't admit it. Anyway, you could say he's against his own opinion.

Definitely not, (see music video for better info on meaning) has to do with self vs. self so yea the music video is well animated and shows a man/demon fighting himself/stag demon kills stag means man is hurt footprints exit stag which immediately rots man follows footprints of blood leading to photo of family he enters the photo to find self in railway tunnel demon shoots train from mouth man enters train lamp find him self holding wife who has died demon watches with gleam in eye meaning demon killed wife flood happens man goes to save son from drowning but building pushes man up preventing rescue man sees bloody footprints and gets angry smoke comes from mouth meaning anger man trans forms into demon to get up stairs during that time multiple instances of son and wife appear all die man reaches top of steps sees stag prepares gun demon shoots bullet from mouth witch hits man who is in stags place and man dies I believe that the man thinks he is responsible for his family's death so he kills himself in anger with himself witch ends the song altogether meaning he is gone and his family is gone so yea review of song over.
