All right, let's see if we can do this in one toke - take.
I find out too late when I,
I am over it
And each time, dearly escape when I'm (enough said)
Divine, fine
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I try to keep myself elated
And in my right mind, uh-huh, uh-huh
The one wrong song, telling me I've been here too long (enough said)
And I'm gone. [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/d/dandy_warhols/i_am_over_it.html ]
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I find out too late when I,
I am over it
And each time, dearly escape when I'm (enough said)
Divine, fine
I try to keep myself elated
And in my right mind, uh-huh, uh-huh
The one wrong song, telling me I've been here too long (enough said)
And I'm gone.
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
I am over it
Always thought this describes the state of mind of someone *very* stoned (and not just because of the joke at the beginning of the song). Not necessarily greening-out, though. You go through paranoid or uneasy states of mind - deliberately *trying* to keep yourself elated and in your right mind - but the overriding feeling is, of course, that you're "over it". You'd rather just retire, "dearly escape", and chill.
