Daddy Dewdrop is a pseudonym for an American songwriter named Dick Monda (born Cleveland, Ohio, 1940), backed up by some studio musicians, including Tom Hensley who later became the musical director for Neil Diamond and Butch Rillera who later became a member of the group Redbone.
