Oh, the "N" word is not her own but comes from the perspective of her hillbilly Christian father, whom Jesus presumably loved, but who himself hated women and black people. The writer is pointing out the hypocrisy of such a belief and, implicitly, the selfish motivation for the belief.

The writer's father was a hillbilly Christian who yelled as his wife as if Jesus didn't love her but only his own selfish ass. Like priests f...ing little boys, and Muhammed f...ing 9-year-old A'isha, he f...ed his little daughter ruining the rest of her life. She did as she was told as a good little girl and now has the blues and looks to marriage as a means of escape. But the same father figure made her feel safe, and she'll look for the same in a husband, only to perpetuate the never-ending cycle of selfish abuse.

To the previous poster, "God granted them the right to choose an eternity in his absence, which is ... hell." A perfect god would have created a perfect creation. A perfect creation would not be damned to hell. The church created the concept of hell to control your mind. You believe it and are controlled...

This is a song which clearly shows that the lyricist does not understand the difference between true christianity and the icons that represent it. Believing that all christians are like the false christians that shun away those that do not look like them or that don't fit snugly into their niche. They scorn and pick and choose who to do right for, being racist and judgmental much like the pharisees which Jesus criticized so often and so openly.

Obviously there is a great resentment towards church leaders and the instances in which they have fallen into great sin and abused those that trusted them.

But true christian leaders are those who emulate the walk of the Lord, He who's walk was righteous and kind and pure. True christian brothers and sisters follow the law of love and practice no exception of persons, treating everyone with respect and dignity.

Christianity is a not a religion it is a way of walking, in the foot steps of He who loved enough to give up his life.

Many people do not understand the Bible, because it is necessary to have the Holy spirit inside. The Holy Spirit is available to all those who ask The Father for it. It is a gift available to ANYONE who decides to follow Jesus. Many people do not understand the aspect of hell. I can only begin relate to hell as being a favor from God to those who do not love Him. Who would want to sleep in the same bed and kiss a man or woman they loathed? In the same way who would want to spend an eternity with someone they do not love? God gave man the free will to choose their own destiny, and it has nothing to do with forgetting to pray before going to bed. God in Jesus is grace, NOT law. God granted them the right to choose an eternity in his absence, which is what hell is in essence. The complete absence of God.

There is much more to the Bible and the history of God with man to wrap it up in the interpretation of a song's meaning... But what I will say is that God does love you. And also your wife, and also your friends perfectly colored by the stroke of His paintbrush, though not necessarily their lives. BUT He does promise to forgive all those who ask for forgiveness and offers guidance into a life that is WORTH living. A life that reveals to you that you were PURPOSELY made. No mistakes every part perfectly and fearfully made. If you like Just turn to your Creator and ask... His mercy is new every day, and he loves the wrong doer, though not their wrongs.

Every defect can be made into an asset in the hands of The One who created us all.
