Who's got a beard that's long and white
Santa's got a beard that's long and white

Who comes around on a special night
Santa comes around on a special night

Special Night, beard that's white

Must be Santa
Must be Santa
Must be Santa, Santa Clause

Who wears boots and a suit of red
Santa wears boots and a suit of red

Who wears a long cap on his head
Santa wears a long cap on his head

Cap on head, suit that's red
Special night, beard that's white

Must be Santa
Must be Santa
Must be Santa, Santa Clause

Who's got a big red cherry nose
Santa's got a big red cherry nose

Who laughs this way HO HO HO
Santa laughs this way HO HO HO

HO HO HO, cherry nose
Cap on head, suit that's red
Special night, beard that's white

Must be Santa
Must be Santa
Must be Santa, Santa Clause

Who very soon will come our way
Santa very soon will come our way

Eight little reindeer pull his sleigh
Santa's little reindeer pull his sleigh

Reindeer sleigh, come our way
HO HO HO, cherry nose
Cap on head, suit that's red
Special night, beard that's white

Must be Santa
Must be Santa
Must be Santa, Santa Clause

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen,
Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen

Reindeer sleigh, come our way
HO HO HO, cherry nose
Cap on head, suit that's red
Special night, beard that's white

Must be Santa
Must be Santa
Must be Santa, Santa Clause

I remember this song. In fourth grade, my class went to listen to the kindergarteners sing it for the christmas concert/play. I very much enjoyed it and my sister and i started to sing it this morning. Ha..! Then we forgot the lyrics, so we checked on this website :]

What a coincidence. I heard this song on the radio earlier this month as well and had not heard it since we performed it in grade school back in the 1960's. It was one of our favorites as kids growing up and it still rings fresh 50 some years later!

Sang this at my kindergarten Christmas play in 1990. At the end of the song one of the fathers come in dressed as Santa and handed out presents. Also did a nativity scene. Don't know about anywhere but both these things no longer happen in Australia. Shame really the kids love it.
