Christmas Carols – Let It Snow lyrics

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've bought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm

The fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still goodbying
But as long as you love me so
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Overal I personally think that this was actually just meant to be a very kind song, showing all the love both lovers have shared, I especially remember my mom singing this to m every Christmas morn when it was snowing to hard to go outside, I truly was amazed when I found out all about where it came from, I still remember me singing it with mom, we used to drink hot chocolate to warm ourselves, eating popcorn and adding in some jingle bells and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, if I remember correctly we used to actually kiss and hug, because we loved each other.
