(CHORUS:)
Aaahh Freak out!
Le Freak, C'est Chic
Freak out!
Aaahh Freak out!
Le Freak, C'est Chic
Freak out!
Aaahh Freak out!
Le Freak, C'est Chic
Freak out!
Aaahh Freak out!
Le Freak, C'est Chic
Freak out!

Have you heard about the new dance craze?
Listen to us, I'm sure you'll be amazed
Big fun to be had by everyone
It's up to you, It surely can be done
Young and old are doing it, I'm told
Just one try, and you too will be sold
It's called Le Freak! They're doing it night and day
Allow us, we'll show you the way

(CHORUS)

All that pressure got you down
Has your head spinning all around
Feel the rhythm, check the ride
Come on along and have a real good time
Like the days of stopping at the Savoy
Now we freak, oh what a joy
Just come on down, two fifty four
Find a spot out on the floor

(CHORUS)

Now Freak!
I said Freak!
Now Freak!

All that pressure got you down
Has your head spinning all around
Feel the rhythm, check the ride
Come on along and have a real good time
Like the days of stopping at the Savoy
Now we freak, oh what a joy
Just come on down, two fifty four
Find a spot out on the floor

(CHORUS)

I could not understand the last stanza. Find the spot on the floor? Thank You lyricsmode! However, to me, some of the lyrics sound a little different that what was posted here. All I know is that back in the 70s " the Freak" was a new dance move that Chic had invented & its easy. Everytime the chorus went "freak out" it meant move your hands up over your head (like your freaking out) two times-once to freak & then to out- (you can even reach your hands up higher by jumping). And that was the "new" move (or dance) known as "the Freak". Also, immediately after the "freak out" move, you were supposed to squat down while twisting side to side. I remember seeing, the best dancer in the club "breakdancing" instead of doing the "twist" & I said, "Wow! That looks hard."
