Um, this song is utterly and completely about shooting heroin. I guess I will keep on typing because I have to have at least 50 words, but it is about shooting heroin. I mean, think about it. He talks about Candy running through his veins, addicts call it candy. He wants to get struck, like by a needle. Then he is talking about energy rushing through him. He's talking about heroin. There are no more words that need to be typed.

The drug analogy is obvious. But then, the early stage of falking madly in love with someone has often been compared to being addicted to cocaine. Sleepless nights, strong desires, exhilertating and miserable at the same time. Is it live song or one about drugs? Maybe its both. At least if you every been that passionate about someone. Like being struck by lightning. Nevermind the flaws.

I'm pretty sure this song is about some kind of drug. Most likely morphine/opiates. Not so much heroin since the lyrics say "you're like lighting in bottle", not many other drugs (especially street drugs) come in a bottle. Unless he's talking about cocaine, which is sometimes kept in a vial. Still, the only intravenous drug I can think of that comes in a bottle is pharmaceutical liquid morphine. "I can't let you go now that I've got you" probably refers to addiction, and then "I'm dying for another taste" is the biggest give away for me, as it most likely references the painful physical withdrawal that comes with opiate use. And while opiates don't give you a rush of energy or "electric" feeling, the artist may be referring to the rush or pins-and-needles type feeling immediately after injecting. I honestly can't see it being about anything else or another drug.

Well right off the jump. Being an old hippie. Please dear Garrett Borns, do not let this song be about drugs, If it is. As talented as you are at your young adult male age. I would definitely plead with you not to do drugs, It will lead to a quick demise of your smart intelligence and put you as young as you are on a path into a revolving door to nowhere, You may think you are infallible from this shiz for a while but take a look at history and the druggie young actor's and band members whom have like just freakin died from doing heavy drugs and crap. And what for? Death? The idea is to get money and keep on living. Your fate is sealed when they talk you into needle drugs. You are just a carnival token for a while. You are always replaceable and don't let them say you're not. There is a way to have fun without getting on a long train to nowher, or taking a long walk on a short gangplank. So if this song is about drugs. Which I doubt and really hope is not the case, you can have a successful career in the industry. And if there are peeps out there encouraging you to do drugs, the reason is not on the up and up. They need a new Jimmie Hendrix, Curt Cobain. And etc. Example human victims. Sooo. Well consult with me and I can show you how to party a bit and have a fantastic time without being addicted to hard drugs that always end in the innocent victim's sensational news story statistic death. You are powerful on your own and you have potential of a young diverse talent such as Mick Jagger, and we know that he paid his drugged out dues at one time, but overcame them to luckily become an old richer man, somehow. Probably sold his soul to the devil's. But he is still alive! Beware!

I think this guy's is talking about this really amazing girl he met and now that he knows about her he just can't get enough and that every day he's away from her his mind is always on her. He's just waiting for things to go his way and during that time he wants to struck again by her electric love that made him so crazy for her. This is what I think it means.
