I'm sick of always hearing
All those sad songs on the radio
All day it is there to remind
An over sensitive guy that he's lost and alone, yeah

I hate our favorite restaurant,
Our favorite movie, our favorite show
We would stay up all through the night
We would laugh and get high, and never answer the phone

I can't forgive, can't forget
Can't give in, what went wrong?
Cause you said this was right
You fucked up my life

I'm sick of always hearing
Sappy love songs on the radio
This place, it's fucking cursed and it's plagued
And I can never escape when my heart it explodes

I can't forgive, can't forget
Can't give in, what went wrong?
Cos you said this was right
You fucked up my life

I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me
What went wrong?
I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me
What went wrong?
I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me
What went wrong?
I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me
What went wrong?
I'm kicking

I feel like this song might not even be about a broken up couple. A know Tom most likely wrote it that way, but I feel like I could also be about how you like somebody, but they just want to be friends or have someone already.

    "I'm sick of always hearing
All those sad songs on the radio
All day it is there to remind
An over sensitive guy that he's lost and alone, yeah"

This part could be about how you can be really depressed about this thing and it really sucks when you hear all of that on the radio.

    "I hate our favorite restaurant,
Our favorite movie, our favorite show
We would stay up all through the night
We would laugh and get high, and never answer the phone"

When you are best friends with someone, you have favorite things that you do together. Favorite places to eat, movies, and shows to watch. And when you hear them talking about how they were going there with their girlfriend or how that's their favorite movie you start to hate it. Or if they just don't like you, you start to feel like there was never anything special about those things

    "I can't forgive, can't forget
Can't give in, what went wrong?
Cause you said this was right
    You f**ked up my life"

This part could be about how you feel terrible about how they don't like you and it really hurt you and you can't forgive or forget it. The can't forget part could also be about how you can't forget all the things you do together and you can't forget how much they love another person more than you and tell you about all the things they do together. They tell you that's it's right to just be friends, but you feel like it's not okay. It really hurts and can f**k up your life.

    "I'm sick of always hearing
Sappy love songs on the radio
This place, it's fucking cursed and it's plagued
And I can never escape when my heart it explodes"

This part is about how you can't stand hearing all the love songs because everyone else but you has someone.

I know this is a pretty bad interpretation but that's how I feel because it's currently happening to me... I like my best friend and he likes me but he has a girlfriend and he always talks about her and stuff...
