Through sadness you have taught us to be one with the crowd
Unveil the sacred order, hymns of falling down
You told the greatest stories, of love and bleeding crowns
But to the sick and hungry, you cannot be found

We are young and we are strong
Through strength in self we become
Something more than they can be
I raise my heart and sing!

That I wont believe this lie
I know there's something more inside
When darkness is all you see
This is our Sweet Blasphemy

Silence the crooked holy, unchain the tied and bound
No time for allegory, one true reigning sound
Unite the lonely mourning, a simple servant now
We are the only glory, hear us screaming loud

We are young and we are strong
I raise my heart and sing!

That I wont believe this lie
I know there's something more inside
When darkness is all you see
This is our Sweet Blasphemy

We are young and we are strong
Through strength in self we become
Something more than they can be
This is our Sweet Blasphemy

That I wont believe this lie
I know there's something more inside
When darkness is all you see
This is our Sweet Blasphemy

I would just like to point out that Andy does not really have a religion, he does not believe is God, however, his parents do and tried to raise him as a Christian but Andy just couldn't believe it. He even says, when he went to his grandfather's funeral, everyone was saying how he was with god now in heaven and Andy wanted to bad to believe that his grandfather was up there, sitting on a cloud, playing video games but he just couldn't believe it. So yes, this song is about standing up for yourself and all that. But I believe that this does sort of relate to the fact that he was raised in a Christian home but no longer believes there is a god. But that is just my opinion. Hate me for it, I don't care, but that is what I think.

"Through sadness you have taught US to be one with the crowd"
There was a group being taught by God (You told the greatest stories, of love and bleeding crowns)
He tries to follow the teachings of God and be even more powerful than God himself (something more than they can be)
One day they put the Lord's Teachings to the test and surprisingly he died.
(That I wont believe this lie... When Darkness is all you see)
They stopped worshipping God and cursed him.
    (This is our sweet blasphemy)

This song looks to be just an honest opinion. I see an acknowledgment of God in it though. Like "You told the greatest stories of love and bleeding crowns"-that's talking about Jesus and the crown of thorns he wore when he died on the cross. In they recognize what Christians believe. But over all this song is kind of like "This is what I see with MY eyes, and this is what I believe." It's not a slam on God or Jesus OR CHRISTIANS. It's just what they believe for themselves.

This song isn't directly pointed towards chistainity or God, it says nothing about God. I read somewhere && idk if it is true or not but I read that Andy Sixx is athiest. That doesn't really matter. I agree with cupcake13 && j0rdannn1223. but amandagoodman13, you are entitiled to your own opinion. So yeah.
