What is this that stands before me?
Figure in black which points at me
Turn around quick and start to run
Find out I'm the chosen one, oh nooo! [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/b/black_sabbath/black_sabbath.html ]
Big black shape with eyes of fire
Telling people their desire
Satan's sitting there, he's smiling
Watches those flames get higher and higher
Oh no, no, please God help me!
Is it the end, my friend?
Satan's coming 'round the bend
People running 'cause they're scared
The people better go and beware!
No, no, please, no!

Apprently, there were alternative lyrics which were voted down by the rest of the band, and which went something like this:
Is it the end my friend? Satan's coming round the bend. Beelzebub oh beelzebub, is it you at the foot of my bed? Oh beelzebub, the fallen one, with your sad eyes. I love you.
So poignant. One always sensed a underlying sadness in ozzy osbourne's compositions. A sense that, if one were to try to quantify it, would be dwarfed to infinity by the immensity of plug-thickness evident in anyone who patronised their music.
Yes i agree that black sabbath is better with the ozz man but don't get me wrong black sabbath did have some okay songs after he left but still ozzy's a classic.
