I think in our hurt world, the only thing that makes since is the existence of a god. I am a christian but i am also a psychologist. I understand the principles of science and see the logic of needing evidence to believe in something. But from first hand experience with colleagues, i can see that much more than often, the biased comes from the scientists who are clouded by a misunderstanding of christianity and are scared down deep. The truth is that evidence of a god is out there. If anyone with absolutely no preconceived notions or biased on a scientific stand point were to be introduced to a bible and they sincerely tried to apply it to the physical world, they would find that it fits perfectly. Nowhere in the bible does it say something that goes against something what is evidently existent in the world. I can understand the doubt that many people have such as why does god allow these terrible things to happen in the world and i think the answer to that is in full, beyond our human understanding but there is too much other evidence that points to the existence of a god. And once the belief in a god is made within a person, they should just trust that he has a plan for everything and that it is for a purpose. This would be understandably hard for someone to believe who has lost someone in a war or something but that is where faith comes in. The counterpart to evidence. I love august burns red btw. Great song too.

you say scientists are trying to cover up the fact that "god" created earth and everything else
first tell me
how can they be covering up something that hasnt been proven
how do you know for certain that god created earth? Forget your biblebashing beliefs for one second and look at this as un-bias as you can
now tell me can you truly believe that god definately created everything
and that we are almighty beings of the universe because we're created in his image
why would god create a fucked up world where more than half the population of it live in filth and poverty
and that people such as hitler can roam this land and rape and pilage for his sakes
without anything happening to him till he'd finished

Apathy- absence or suppression of passion, emotion, or excitement. This song is referring to half-hearted christians who wont stand for what is right. It challenges believes to resist the wrong teaching (anything, science could be included) around us and fight against a misled generation.

Well not just science, i think the context is to make sure your faith is anchored in god and to go against the the direction the world is leading you. Yes, there is reference to science in the song but christians should be in the world but not of the world.

I think this song is talking about how science is trying to push us away from the belief that god created earth and how it comes up with theories that just hide the true fact about god.
