I think that the "seven storeys we're climbing tonight" part signifies hurdles, difficulties they're getting through. This part seems straight forward enough "so if you're angry about the fact that it's red
i'll surrender, i'll change it to white" red can signify anger, white signifies surrender. Like a friend who doesn't like how their friend is handling things but won't do anything to anger them because they care? I don't really know, that sounded i little better when i thought it. This part "sneaking looks at you sleeping around
at you grass stained and drunk on the ground" a boyfriend who is cheating and not looking after themselves, shes watching but not cleaning up after him. Hmm that sounded better in my head too. "so we're taking you down with the scissor, paper, rock again" sounds like they're fighting back, playing the game too and are going to win. The first line is still puzzling me... I want to use this song as part of my music assignment for school but i cant work out the whole meaning.. Any ideas?
