Anything But Joey was a pop-rock band from the Kansas City area. The band was made up of high school friends Matt Groebe on lead vocals, Drew Scofield on bass and backing vocals, Jeff Polaschek on drums, and Bryan Chesen on guitar. The band formed in the summer of 1995, under the name M.I.P.
