Andrew Lloyd Webber – Finale lyrics

Phantom:
Masquerade,
Paper faces on parade
Masquerade
Hide your face
So the world will never find you
Christine, I love you.
Christine:
Say youll share with me
One love, one lifetime
Phantom:
Say the word
And I will follow you
Christine:
Share each day with me
Each night, each morning
Phantom:
You alone can make my song take flight
Its over now, the music of the night.

This part of a song is the final part of the song down once more/ track down this murderer at the tart of this part the phantom sings a reprise of Masquerade which now can be seen as a metaphor for the phantom himself as his mask was his paper face which was hiding him from the world so no one could find him and hunt him down. At the end he reprises the music of the night revealing that only Christine can help in and as she turned him down his music is now over for good.
