Conceived was I
From Chaos and hate
Of malice, deceit and blood
And how would they know
My fate is to rise
Against the Asagods
My being is full, full of a rage
An evil that can't be tamed
It darkens my soul
And blackens the blood
A fire that fills my veins
So how
Did I ever end up here?
Humiliated, broken and weak
I've waited
For a thousand years
To break these chains apart and
To finally break myself free
I bit the hand, off the mighty Tyr
When I couldn't, tare my ties
Now banished I dwell
A sword in my jaw
Awaiting the end of time
In darkness I drown
Consumed by my hate
Longing for revenge
Allfather will pay
For his deceit
At the battle
Of Ragnarok [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/a/amon_amarth/a_beast_am_i.html ]
A Beast Am I
So vicious and grim
They fear my mean
Grinning teeth
I bide my time
My sweet revenge
Soon my ties will fall
And finally I will be free
So when you hear me howling
You'll know that I have come for you
When you hear me call your name
Your life will end in nameless pain
Solo: Simon Solomon
Conceived was I
From Chaos and hate
Of malice, deceit and blood
And how would they know
My fate is to rise
Against the Asagods
My being is full, full of a rage
An evil that can't be tamed
It darkens my soul
And blackens the blood
A fire that fills my veins
A Beast Am I
So vicious and grim
They fear my mean
Grinning teeth
I bide my time
My sweet revenge
Soon my ties will fall
And Finally I will be
Finally break myself!
Finally I will be free!

The meaning is a norse myth about a giant wolf named fenrir. He is related to the monsters that eventually destroy the world. Odin sent thor and loki to capture fenrir because odin knew that he would cause the end of the world. One day he tries to kill odin by breaking out of his cell when his friend tyr came to feed fenrir. But fenrir fails to kill odin and loki makes a deal with him saying that if fenrir could break a chord made by dwarves, then he could fight odin, but if he couldn't then he would h be vanished, never to return again. But when fenrir tells loki to promise by placing his right hand on fenrir's muzzle, fenrir bites loki. However, loki tricks fenrir and places the chord on tyr's hand, so if fenrir would break the chord, then tyr would lose his hand. When fenrir refuses to break the chord, loki changes his mind, because he bit his hand, and instead fenrir is imprisoned for 1,000 years, until he later kills odin and kills all of the gods except for thor, who is killed by fenrir's brother, a giant serpant.
