I saw you when you were down
I came from the other side of town
I wanted you to be around
But you came from the other side of town
I wanted you to wear my crown
But I came from the other side of town
So in my drink I will drown
You came from the other side of town
My cap was white yours was brown
I came from the other side of town
My people smile your people frown
You came from the other side of town

Some very dodgy rhyming here! But it a good song! How did I do it! ? Listen and find out! Its about a girl in Sunderland I knew who lived miles away so it was like we would never meet.. Until we actually did right at the end of my studies ..by then though I had messed it up with loads of poetry!
