From the top looking down
All the faces slide off
Like the cliff that's by the town
All the seagulls drop off
From the top looking down
All the seagulls drop off
Like the wind that shifts around
All the water drifts off
From the top looking down
All the water drifts off
Like the path that leaves the town
All the people stop off
From the top looking down
All the people stop off
Like the cliff that's by the town
All the faces slide off
From the sea look around
All the faces slide off
Like the cliff that's by the town
All the seagulls drop off
From the top looking down
All the faces slide off
Like the cliff that's by the town
All the seagulls drop off

This is a song I wrote while living in Sunderland, and thinking about suicide. Sad but true. Lifes not always a bed of roses, or a box of chocolates, or whatever the phrase is! The poem works really well I love it, and I put it to some Nirvanaesque music..like it
