alexthomasdavis – An Eternal Truth lyrics

This is an eternal truth
This is an eternal truth
This is an eternal truth
This is an eternal truth
Back to when the days were long
Thank the lord for the bluebirds song
I heard it like an ancient ray of sun
There it was just said and done

This is an eternal truth
Back to when the de ja vued
Like a dream arrive on cue
It came to me like a picture
Like a ready steady go set fixture
This is an eternal truth
Back to when the vision flew
It just looked and sounded really new
There's a place where dreams run true
In your mind is where is it brews
This is an eternal truth

An Eternal Truth is one you hear, something someone has said that just rings true. I heard a guy on the radio once say we will the cricket Ashes, and that was an eternal truth, I just knew it from end to be a true statement. It usually happens when you have done something good. Or the time when you have a De Ja Vu and you just know what is going to happen next. That's an eternal truth. The song itself is good, with a lovely change into the first verse from the chorus, back to when, the days were long, thank the lord, for the bluebirds song. Is itself an eternal truth.
