Which the listener knows he won't do.

We take those we love for granted. Often their contributions to our well being is overlooked and unrewarded. Here a woman has given all she can and recognizes that he will not see the elephant in the room til it leaves the room. So she leaves the room and tells him that he will miss her, he will see that she was all he ever needed. Unfortunately, he fails to notice even the absent elephant and she is hurt further when the depth of his love for her is not to the depth of hers.

When u love someone so deeply, but u know the relationsh is pointless for him that u jusy get tired of trying make it work and even if is a hard decision to make u know is time to let him go, and as he is not going to do anything to.change u need to move on for u

To love someone so deeply that you are willing to give everything you have to make them see you. He took everything for granted until there was nothing left. He was so oblivious, not caring about what adele was doing or even bothering to pay attention to her. In the end, she made the right decision and ended this relationship.

Wen i 1st heard dis song i just cried coz i gave it my all i tryd everythn but my ex was to blind to c it . Afta cryin my self 2slp it didnt mean anythn 2him . It was hard 2let him go but i did . Thank u adele 4givin sense 2music . I still wonder hw he walkd away frm my tears

When somebody has done absolutely evertything to show their love and that is taken for granted, the easiest way is to let eveything go because they would have played their part

Adele is trying to say that she put all her heart and soul into the relationship to have him walk away and not give a damn about her and her feelings. Its also saying that she would do anything for him to just come back to her.
