This is my vengeance for all the wrongs
You've formed against us
You always get me wrong
My whole existence revolves around the progress that we've made
I'll never be walked on again
I'm on the edge of the rooftop
Thinking nobody will ever know
I hope that you'd want to be the one to see
The distance from the road
I'm on the edge of the rooftop
Thinking nobody will ever know
I hope that you'd want to be the one to see
The distance from the road
The road
This is our triumph over all the forms of filth you've spread
We'll never let this go
Right from the very start I knew this day would come
Tonights the night we silence you
There's nowhere left to run
I'm on the edge of the rooftop
Thinking nobody will ever know
I hope that you'd want to be the one to see
The distance from the road
I'm on the edge of the rooftop
Thinking nobody will ever know
I hope that you'd want to be the one to see
The distance from the road
The road
Let this be your reminder
I'm everything that you wanted to be
Hope for the best but it's over
And you thought you were better than me
I'm on the edge of the rooftop
Thinking nobody will ever know
I hope that you'd want to be the one to see
The distance from the road
I'm on the edge of the rooftop
Thinking nobody will ever know
I hope that you'd want to be the one to see
The distance from the road
The road
The road
The road
The road
Such a pretty picture
Your chalk line on the ground
I hope you die
Well, I think this song is more to do with him being driven to scuicide by a woman. "i hope you'd be the one to see the distance from the road" shows that he is about to kill himself.. although he sees, whoever brought him to do so, is the one that should be killing themself.
"tonights the night we silence you"
talking about not silence because they arent alive, but the silence of the person that drove the person to scuicide.. in shock of what they made them do.
"such a pretty picture
your chalkline on the ground"
wishing it was them throwing themselves off instead of him.
I think this song is about a guy who is going to push another guy off a rooftop, he is saying that this is the winning of everything, theres nothing left to it, its over. He is hoping that everyone will see this, before he pushes him he is thinking of the chalk line the police will draw around his body, and hes hopping that he dies
