Hope,
A new beginning
Time,
Time to start living
Like just before we die

There's no going back
To the place we started from

Hurt,
Falling through fingers
Trust,
Trust in the feeling
There's something left inside

There's no going back
To the place we started from

I... All secrets known...

I... I... I...

Calm,
All wounds are healing
Strong,
Truth is worth saving
I want to feel alive

There's no going back
To the place we started from

I...

All secrets known...

feel that this song was also written for Layne (like Black Gives Way to Blue). i feel it talks about that there was finally hope to move forward after Layne's death and the knowledge that things were never going to be the same as they were before ... but after things settled .. Jerry wanted to live again and do what he was born to do .. write and perform music. i'm so glad. ♥

It's a good...restart, bloomingly respectful towards Layne, R.I.P., i think/hope Jerry has enough inspiration, along with his mates(as talented as him), to bring the band at least to its former glory, hopefully to many more, younger ears, and revive and actualize the real seattle pitch vibe. DuVall is surely the Catch.
