Blessed are he who are speaks the word
Grateful that we can lead the herd
Dollars signs in the faithful eyes
The anti fate on day disguise
You're just a faker
No miracle maker
Holy behavior
Wont make you our savior
If we want a martyr
We'll come and find you
Come and find you
Done before you started
You're dead in the water
Walk on father out to sea
You're done before you started
You're dead in the water [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/0-9/10_years/dead_in_the_water.html ]
Blessed are he who sees the word
Holiness are well rehearsed
Dollars in the faithful eyes
Anti fates on day disguised
You're just a faker
No miracle maker
Holy behavior
Wont make you our savior
If we want a martyr
We'll come and find you
Come and find you
Done before you started
You're dead in the water
Walk on father out to sea
You're done before you started
You're dead in the water
The water
The water
The water
Money made messiahs
You're televised to tell yours lies
Modern of a martyr
You're dead in the water
If we want a martyr
We'll come and find you
Come and find you
Done before you started
You're dead in the water
Walk on father out to sea
You're done before you started
You're dead in the water
You're dead in the water
You're dead in the water
You're dead in the water

Hypocrites that act "religious" but dont truly have any faith, just greed. Not necessarily catholic or evangelistic, but those with no honestly and dont hold to their faith. Maybe people like joel osteen

Excuse me sir before me, but this is definitely talking about the televangelists not the so called "common hypocrisy" of the catholic church. If you please, then give us an example of this hypocrisy that is more common in the catholic church than it is in the other christian denominations. Don't point at a specific branch of christianity without proof.

I think that this song is pretty much saying that that if you can't be brave enough to tell others your religion that you have no chance in living.

He is saying that the televangelists that claim that they are "miracle makers" and "saviors" are just fakes. No matter how holy they act or how religiously they front themselves, all they want is to get money.

I think, in this song, he's talking about the hypocrisy that's unfortunately common in the catholic church, and perhaps the modern 'televangelists' that claim to be able to save people and give the answers when all they really want is money.
